'Oversized appliances'

I will admit I'm a bit of an inverted snob, I find oversized or overstated decor and appliances very vulgar. I always go for subtle and understated. 'American style' refrigerators have become the height of tacky status symbols here!

We have a fridge freezer which is perhaps slightly smaller than a separate under counter fridge and freezer, if has always been more than adequate for our needs and we only do food shopping twice a week.

The jug

It is a reproduction of a jug which originally was used to bring beer from the cellar to the bar and then poured into glasses and sold.
The brewery on the jug no longer exists but is now known as "Theakstones" in the small town of masham ( pronounced without the "H" as Masam)
The jug is of very little value and can be bought in the UK for about £15.00
