Ultima rinse levels

ok oddness -

so i recently got a new hottie ultima, totalling my collection to three hottie machines, now they all look pretty much the same, but the difference in the programming is astonishing! lets take rinse levels for example. The first one i got was an aquarius, and on a regular 40 degree wash, the rinse level was a good way up the door and does three rinses with the option of an extra rinse if i want - that one is my fav. now the hottie ultima washer dryer, is also good, but the rinse levels are slightly lower than the aquarius - but it has the spin rinse which i wrote about before. finally the new ultima has totally low rinse levels on all washes - like not even touching the door..........except for the fast wash! the fast wash has really high rinse levels! madness - maybe i'm just crazy for thinking that if i bought one product from a company that all the rest of their products would be great? dang should have just saved my money and bought a miele!!!

Yeah, I've heard that the Ultima's have v.bad rinsing. I was looking for something that was an improvement on the boach Exceel 1400 I had and I ended up opting for the Hoover Vision HD14 8KG. I have had this machine for about a month now and I am so happy with it. Great washing and water extraction and the rinsing of the machine is outstanding. 4 usual rinses or five with sensitive care. heres a pic of the rinse level on the third rinse of the cottons 40C.

This is a shame because the old hotpoint Ultimas used to rinse fantastic, even if way too much detergant was added - with an extra rinse it would take all the suds away. My new electrolux insight cant remove all the detergent even with 5 rinses.

I have a hotpoint ultima, posted some vids a few days ago on here under hottie videos, the water level on mine will come up to the door, but it is dependant on how much goes in, and i dont know but differences in water pressure seem to affect it as well, e.g if i do a wash late at night i'll have a higher water level in the rinses compared to during the day.
When i did see that it only did a standard of two rinses i always use the extra rinse option, otherwise on the final spin i'll get a load of suds flying round the door.
I do find this model better than the bosch exxcel for rinsing, i'd never get a water level to or above the door and sometimes it would decide it needed more water then a few seconds after, the rinse would finish which was totally pointless.

yeah the extra rinse option is a useful one, but my ultima washer doesn't have it - the aquarius does though, interesting theory about the rinse levels though, i still think next to miele the hotties are the best on the market )

i think so in terms of getting stuff all clean, i love the superwash, i think its great that it more or less maintains the wash temp not so good on electric but my towels have never been whiter! :0)
shame that the build quality isn't as good as a miele, is the washer/dryer still a 6kg or a 7kg, my model is the 7kg. is the sensor drying any good?

i think its a 5kg dry - thats what it says on the front - the sensor dry is good - but i think it goes on longer than it needs to sometimes, so i tend to manually input the drying time
