What??

NEW??

I dont think so, These have been sold for years over here as a general household use product most often sold in £1 shops (dollar stores).

Not that great either and a total swizz as each tablet they say makes 1 litre of bleach, what you have to read on the back is it makes 1 litre of "solution" to clean with not 1 litre of actual bleach. Thus a 5 litre bucket to clean your kitchen takes 5 tablets. Considering 20 tablets makes 5 buckets of cleaning solution they work out way more expensive than buying 2 litres of bleach to dilute yourself.

The solution is not that strong either and i found i had to use 5 or 6 tablets in about a litre of water to soak dishcloths.

These tablets imply they are bigger than the ones we get over here (1cm in diameter and about 4mm thick) due to the dilution rates but I wouldnt surprise me if they are the same thing. Since when has bleach leaked out of bottles? Never had it happen to me if one ensure the cap is fitted correctly.

They will have their market I suppose but for what they are they are not worth buying.

I tried them. I saw them at Wal-Mart and decided to give them a try. They are about the size of Tums tablet (don't confuse the two!).

I put it in with my detergent at the start of the wash cycle. The tablet slowly disolves, and it has that "clorine" odor. I have found that for a large load of whites, it requires two tablets to do the same job as a cup of liquid bleach.

Overall, I don't think they are as effective as the liquid unless you let the clothes soak a little extra time. If you right into your wash cycle, I think the whites are brighter with liquid bleach. However, they sure are easy to use.

Sodium Hypochlorite tablets

I don't see how these could be effective when introduced to the wash solution. Chlorine is best used in a separate bath after the detergent wash. I would think if using the same water it better to make them of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate( the bleach in REAL DW detergent) which is a time relase chlorine agent and gets along with surfactants.
