A couple of weeks ago I saw a sign for an estate sale so I stopped. Came home with this gem. This is only a couple of weeks after Robert brought me the green 20lb Signature washer. Hate the color, love the dishwasher! Here it is before I had the chance to clean and detail it!
WE had this one only in Harvest bought in 1974 at Wards as a scrathch and dent. Ours was a convertable and we built it in. This was (I think) the TOL with rapid advance and 12 level wash. This was one of the best dishwashers we ever had In 1977 we bought a new home and wife complained about the builders DW not being good so since old house was still up for sale I traded out the DW kept both of us happy. This help lots too. WE had a stainless gas cooktop and we could fit it in this DW.
Wow, a nife Frigidaire made one!! Done I don't think I ever saw this model before. Congratulations. Is there a small spray arm on the top of the dishwasher? Would love to see a legible closeup of the cycle buttons.
Wow - it never hurts to stop at just one more estate sale! What fun a portable this will be - and quite the lovely shade, I might add! Always appealing to the masses ~
At first glance I thought it was a Maytag, but it's actually a Signa-daire!! Very nice machine! What style is your "Warge" washer? The slanted control panel or flat? Enjoy!
My Aunt had the more basic model. I remember I would love loading it and it had the most superior capacity. But was rather noisey. I definatly wish someone made this type of interior design dishwasher.

Don, awesome find, congrats! I agree with Scott that at first glance it looked like a Maytag.
I'd love to see some close-ups of the controls and the spray arm(s). Was there one for the top rack, or was it a single level wash? Hard to tell in the picture.
I wanna know is this one that had the small rotating spray arm at the end of a big spray arm in the bottom. IN additon to the spray device from the top of the machine--don't know what it is. Austin, there's a fixed tower something like the old Maytags that comes up to get the underside of the top rack.
Don
What a great find! Too Cool! What a great looking Portable! Do tell how you came across it.
Is this a Maytag?
I really don't remember this dishwasher.
Thanks for the pictures! Run this baby and tell us all about her / his secrets.

This machine has one big spray arm on the bottom, no smaller arms attached, and a very large and long tower. I just saw a sign, pulled over and there it was. I need to run it through a full load, haven't done that yet!
those were like the GM Frigidaire DW's of the 70's or it is identical to the one I had ............ great find, uses LOTS of water ......... have you tried it out ?
