I didn't realize I was creating any violation! I'm new here, and my intentions are good. I really hope you're not angry with me. Please cut me some slack.

Just to add...

I'm autistic, and very sensitive. Hence my interest in laundry appliances. I want to be on good terms with everyone here.

I'm not angry with you Ingliscanada

BUT, you are starting too many new threads unnecessarily. This pushes other threads off into the archives faster than some may like. Please try to reply to existing threads if at all possible.

Okay,

Just let me know the right way to do things, as I am new to all this. I want to make sure I'm treating this place with respect. And you can call me Gary. BTW, tomorrow is my birthday:)

Yay!

Well Happy Birthday Gary, why don't you fill out your profile with your name and birth date and other information so we will get to know you better.

Robert, I tried to create my Bio,

but a note came up saying I created too many threads. Can I try again tomorrow?

And to everybody here, a little more "aboot" me,

My name is Gary Waleski, and I'm Oakville born and raised. I'm 43, and happily married. I have Aspergers, which gave me a strong interest in laundry machines. When I hear a dryer exhaust vent, I could actually recognize the make of the dryer just by the sound! I'm new here, so show me the ropes, so that I know all the "do's and don'ts." I have much knowledge to share, and I want to be a wonderful addition to this site.

I just found out...

...how to read profiles, just by clicking on the Handle name. When I joined here, I was at work. So I was multitasking; tending to my work while figuring all this out. I didn't even know I had to create my own profile. Now I'm home sick with H1N1 (swine flu) and have the time to read all the directions now. I think I have this all down now;)

my God robert!

you look just like my aunt mary in your latest profile pic here! she was my aunt that had the 1965 custom imperial rollermatic that i was so fascinated with. she was also an excellent cook! when she didn't get mad and throw the entire dinner out the second story kitchen window! the birds were well fed in our yard!

Welcome Gary!!

And a very happy but late birthday! You are going to enjoy this site and all the great people on it.

Terry

My Birthday was the 5th

Happy birthday my fellow Aspergers person! God only made so many people Aspergers which makes us unique!

Enjoy your birthday!
David

I made the same mistake, Gary

when I first joined on January 1st '06, and started telling my washerman history in a thread, and Robert was just as sweet, even warning me about listing my phone number. He could not have been more accomdating even though he's been through this probably a hundred times before with new members.

Gary

Welcome to the group! Belated Birthday wishes!!!!!

You will, like me, make some great friends here. I don't have Aspergers but I do have Bi-polar. This little community we have here has helped me when I've been down.....and gives me something to focus on when I am manic. I can spend hours looking through old threads, posts and pictures!!

So, again, a big welcome and Happy Automatic Washing!

Paul

Paul

Nice to meet you. My wife has Aspergers AND Bi-polar, so I am very familiar with both. My wife is a very intriguing person, as I'm sure you are too. I have lots of laundry experiences that I will share with you all as time goes on. Cheers!

Gary
