I have an issue with suds coming out of my standpipe during the final spin using tide powder f and g. I use less than the recommended amount but it doesnt help and I cannot use the standpipe adapter that comes with my speed queen because it is too small for the drain hose extension that I had to have installed. Can anyone recommend an unscented/low scent powder which is very low sudsing? Thanks!

thanks mark

but i dont think this product is available by me. I think I should have put this in the Super forum so I am going to post it on there.

No I have not tried the All free and clear; I have been trying to find out if that is low sudsing. The Tide doesnt seem to make many suds when I would look in the machine but the suds come out of the standpipe. Do you think All makes fewer suds than the Tide? I just read that powders soften water more than liquids so maybe that is why I dont have this issue with the Tide f and g liquid?
Thanks so much

now, back to ideas that are helpful.....

apparently for some reason between your drain pipe, and water conditions your running into some overflow sudsing issues...

for some applications, an anti siphon valve installed and sealed to the drain pipe would be one way to eliminate your problems....

you will need one of these, and a few pieces of hose.....but it has worked for me in the past....

there were times that I cut the tapered end of the hose off, and slid it further down into the pipe....and it solved the issue....

keep us posted on how you make out....

I usually use liquid detergents and find myself with this issue sometimes with my SQ. Since I have easy access to behind the machine I just wipe up the suds when it does overflow. It doesn't do it with every load tho and I never see any suds in the wash water so I'm not sure what causes it.
