This is a 27" GE drop in range.GE is still making these. Those who had them before have no other choice because GE is the ONLY company that makes a 27" wide drop in.It's sort of a monopoly there. If yours is in need of replacement, nobody else makes them and it's a bitch if there's no way of widening the cavity it sits in.Most of them are in the middle of an island or wide counter area where it would take an entire breakdown and remodeling job just to replace them with a standard 30".I hate them! They're ugly and very limited as far as oven capacity and the burners consist of 3 6" and 1 8".I'll take a FRIGIDAIRE classic Compact-30 drop in over one of these hands down any day!!!

Until a few years ago (ok, maybe 10 years ago) these were known as "Mark 27" ranges, introduced about 1959. The remote controls had several variations - there were cooktops and Mark 27's that utilized them, and there were 2 wall/cabinet versions of the controls (one with and one without clock/timer) as well as a range hood that included the controls for the cooktop on the front of the hood (no clock/timer in this setup).
