I don't have a regular Maytag anymore, the one I do have has this type of 50hz setup.....but the next time Darren is here, I will try to get a video of different agitators.....amazing the different effects and wash action...

If we had known we could have kept our mid-80's Maytags and just change the agitator to get better rollover we probably would still have the machines today. One of the worst problems we had with it was no matter how lightly you loaded the machine the rollover was absolutely minimal. So we replaced the machines with Whirlpool shredmores after 7 years.
there are exceptions as with anything.....
when Kenmore first came out with the DualAction for their beltdrives...the salesmen and guy in the service dept swore it would not fit my Whirlpool.....but I got one anyway and tried it myself.....it worked!
and the same for the LoadSensor of the Maytags......designed only to fit the newer model, so they claimed.....now granted it only works for the pitman/helical drive machines......the LoadSensor from a Norge design will not fit a true Maytag machine, and so comes the exception!....the biggest ordela is no center lint filter....the newer design was self cleaning....I never seen a big loss either way
ashame for some of the flaws that Norge had, the bigger tub and agitator and longer, slower stroke made it a nice machine to consider....although some have had great luck with these machines.....nobody is perfect

Looks like the guts of an A206. That two tone Powerfin really makes tidal waves on the lower water levels. I grew up with that model, so this brings back some memories.
