I have never heard of a Hoover garage door opener! Wonder if it 'beats while it sweeps while it opens the door'... LOL

I think what the seller means is that the opener is made by Edwards-the motor made by Hoover.At one time long ago Hoover made fractional HP induction motors that could be used for various purposes-Many where used to power various workshop power tools.
