Quick update on my hoover A3190 thanks to the help of chris I'm just a small step away from getting it thanks to him collecting it for me.

There is good news and bad news sadly. When I first found it I was told that it was in good condition and included the manual. I was totally lied to and the lid is completely knackered, no manual, stiff door release, broken and dangerously wired plug and no waste hose. And for some reason that I'll never know there was wood taped to the drawer ?!?!? And on top of all of this its had a few bodge repairs!

The good news is that Chris says its cleaned up fantastically, I hope to get replacement original parts to make it perfect again if anyone can help with that? :)

Check out the first video Chris made, its on YouTube but for some reason I can't copy and paste it? There will be another video to follow.

Ill attach the pics he sent me and he will upload some later too.

Video

Video 1. I've stuck a plug on it and plugged it in, and run a spin cycle. It sounds smooth enough, video to come in the week. I'm going to stick a waste hose on in a few mins

Hi Luke.

Glad that you and Chris were able to get the machine to safety.
I always approach new old machines with trepadation, then you are seldom gutted if it turns out to not quite be what you expected.

Notice that Chris has been working some magic and that the machine is slowly coming good....

Thanks for the scans Paul :) although I was just ever so slightly gutted (that's an understatement) I'm still really pleases with it, I cant wait to go and have a look at it for my self.
One question, do you know where to find a lid for it? As you can see mines a bit knackered
