powders to try

I was visiting the 'rents last weekend and stopped in Family Dollar, which has a rather extensive selection of powders compared to what I'm used to. I was tempted to try Surf, but I witheld. Bought some Oxydol at another store though.

I'm gradually depleting my liquid stash, and I want to try every odd off-brand powder there is.

Separate topic, but I've noticed Biz is back on shelves. I discovered it last year and loved it, then it disappeared for awhile.

I have no complaints with Surf

Sun is putting what seems like a lot of work into their recently acquired brands, and I really respect that. Surf has been a good product for me. It is on sale right now in this area for $2.99 at one of the grocery stores. I am anxious to see what the new powdered All is all about....it would be a throwback to a younger age if I started using that a lot like my Mom did.

It almost seems like powder may be seeing a bit of a comeback. I like that because it is clearly more space efficient to ship (no space waste in boxes and in trucks like when a round bottle is put in a square shipping carton), and I think it is lighter too, but not completely sure about that. It certainly saves water vs. using it to make liquid.

The nearest Target to my house has the revamped grocery section opening this month. The detergent aisle was moved, and there is probably 50% more space devoted to powders now, but it's still small.
