I have a Pentax Optio A10 digital video/still camera but my idea to do with it is to record the fill, wash & spin cycles inside a washer using a rigid plastic waterproof housing & not those bag type waterproof housings. It also records sound ether without or with video. What I like to do is record first
without laundry then with. I perfer a waterproof housing that withstands the spin & agitate cycles.

I hope it's a very cheap camera !

Very few would survive the bouncing around and I don't think many washing machines appreciate having a heavy hard object in the drum either. You could damage the machine quite badly.

Maybe you could somehow mount it to the window?? or do you want it to record while actually tumbling around? Kind of a cool idea actually.

I rather find a top load washer to place the camera in to record movement of water & laundry during fill, wash & spin. I wish I could put it inside my Whirlpool Duet washer, but it needs a replacement door lock. I could try one of two nearby laundromats, but need a way to keep the lid switch in while the lid is up.
