I like both the Electrolux model G's and the Canadian 88 & 89's the best as far as canister cleaners go. Probably because they're pretty straightforward and simple, they're quiet, roll around on the floor easily and easy to pick up. With all the vacs I have they're the two I pretty much use as daily vacuums.
