Are you sure this is plastic?...this has to be roughly an early-mid eighties model. I thought 91 or so was when the plastic tub machines hit the market.

I could be wrong...I was not there this past weekend.....Someone took those shots for me.....As far as I remember from past years, it could well have been porcelain....

Mine (1987) is porcine
I mean porcelain. If you look closely at the photo
with your monocle you see an ever so tiny rust spot
in the back lower center of the tub, also some on the left

My sister had this model..
only with a few more buttons and her silverware was on the door. What I always hated about that machine was that the silverware basket was not flat so you couldn't put it on the counter to load/unload. As I recall it cleaned well.

Well actually,
You can lay it on its front or back. That usually provides sufficient access.
