Vibration and noise

Hi Guys remember me, I am back after a long time away. Hope every one is well, What I want to know is what is or has been thee worst automatic T L washer that you have used that creates terible noise and vibration.

I think GE's can be pretty bad for vibrations and noise.

Kenmores are pretty well balanced as well as maytag. I think Frigidaires don't do so well on wooden floors either.

The GE's of the 60's, up to the change-over to the new suspension system. (As well as the Perforated tub Hotpoints). And they did not even have to be out of balance to be noisy! In the spin they would set up this cyclic vibration, (some sort of whirl mode). Noisy man, noisy! -Steve

We had an early WCI built Gibson when we first bought our house,that sounded like it was coming up the stairs when agitating,sounded even worse in spin.

What did it sound like? My aunt had a Franklin made Wizard that was very noisy.

Constantly rattling,and banging,with anything over a half load.It would go off balance very easy too,might have had bad tub springs.I know I started looking for a Maytag shortly afterwards.
