Hey Guys, I finally got around to doing a video of the Philco. Here it is seen with a load so huge that I'd normally only put that much in the 1-18. It still does a good job and it got a lot of lint out of my towels. Hope you all enjoy!

Awesome video! What a unique washing system. The clothes look so tranquil and peaceful, just rolling inward very gradually. You don't see the yanking back-and-forth of an oscillating agitator, nor does it look like the movement of a big load in a pulsating Frigidaire. Absolutely cool.

Thanks for taking the time to make and post the video, Joe.

Tranquil

Yes, it is a tranquil turnover in this case, under ordinary conditions the clothes move very rapidly from top to bottom in similar fashion to the Frigidaire. This was a real test of the Philco. I won't be putting it under these conditions again, and it will not be a frequent use machine. My favorite for large loads is the 1-18, other than that I'm in love with the Rapidry 1000.

Even I call that more than a BobLoad. You get BobLoad designation Plus with extra stars ****. Didnt the advertisement claim it could hold something like 7 or 10 sheets (twin bed sheets no doubt)?

Thanks

I appreciate all the comments guys. I may do another Philco video someday with a normal sized load so everyone can get the feel of how it really turns over. I love the way the water in it "dances" as well. It's really fun when you get a lot of suds in there.

Jerry, it's good to hear from you, I hope you're doing well. It was nice to finally meet you last month.

tough washer

That is a great video. What a tough washer. If a loaded my washer like that, I would end up with a scrub board and a bucket.
