varenovator, Robert runs his Harmony on (I think), the "throw rug" (or "shag rug") cycle which always fills to maximum. Normal fills are less, based on the size of the load.
I recall a post on another message board from someone who got rid of a Harmony because it wasn't using enough water, apparently causing excessive wear on the clothes and/or not cleaning well. He thought something was wrong with the machine because it used more water at first, but GE and repair techs said it was working correctly. Perhaps it uses "fuzzy logic" to adjust the water usage over time to the user's loading habits. My Fisher & Paykel Intuitive Eco does that to some degree.
