This listing appears to have a Flair stove in the kitchen that looks in good shape....Markham is suburban Toronto, home of outrageous real estate prices.
A single oven flair turned up a few hours ago on my local Craigslist. Can anybody give me advice on year of manufacture, desireability, etc? Thanks. "Retro stove frigidair custom deluxe flair - $220 (georgetown) priced for quick sale typically sales for 600-1,000 everything works perfectly...
Pete, the console looks a lot like the Clairtone console that a friend of mine used to have.
Here's one like my friend had, a Signet 721. His was finished in a different color more like the one in the listing (I also attached the picture from the listing).
I have no idea of the average market value in Markham (all I know about Markham is that my sister's ex came from there!) but isn't the asking price a bit high?
The place looks quite nice and the house looks clean inside but most people aren't looking for time capsules and it seems the roof will need to be replaced very soon. It also seems to have a concrete block foundation that's starting to show it's age...
It does look like the same stereo . $899,000. it does have the fact that it backs onto a conservation area going for it.. see some of those shacks in toronto go for that amount or more.. ridiculous. That house would be around $250k here in a similar setting, less on an ordinary street.
