I have the exact same tape player. My parents got it new in the 1970's. It went to Florida with them when they moved there in 1985. I asked them about it a few years ago. My dad's reply was, "Oh, yeah, we still have it. Was going to throw it out." So, you know I made them bring it up to Rhode Island when they came to stay with me for the summer. It's in my den. Occasionally, I pop in an 8-track or two and go down memory lane.

Yeah.. the one I'm selling sounds GREAT! So the one you have is it white (or a different color). And does it have a fixed or swivel antennae? This one is a swivel that makes it more rare, if it was a different color it'd even be worth even more.

Hey Ron, I suppose your Weltron is very much similar and can tune in and lock onto radio stations quite easily (due to the part of the Multiplex FM Stereo "auto-locking" fine tuner)? Also suppose you have to start at a very low setting for volume or it would blow you away.

Also was wondering.. anyone else out there watching this or planning to bid on it in eBay? I can answer additional questions about this item if you wish.
