Vintage Frigidaire Dryer

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Ironically the dryer is located not to far from where it was built.  Nice looking '56.  This might be the MOL?  Interesting to see that it has the full porcelain cabinet.

I believe there was a version of the airflow dryer for the '55 Pulsamatics as well.

There was one of these in a utility room at the end of a carport at a house on the way home from school. When the door was open, I would look at it and wonder where the washer was; probably in the kitchen.

Did this have the same exposed heating elements in the upper left quadrant like the Filtrator?

Heating Element

Tom:
It did have the exposed heating element in the top left corner but it was a different type of element - Not the tube type that the Filtrator used.
