yea.The RSE36S was a "Super" model which was the most basic of their line up (Super, custom, Deluxe,Custom Deluxe, Imperial, Elite, and Custom Imperial.) CR rated it #1 for years. When I sold them, they retailed for $359. With only 1 large burner. Not really my favorite model. This was also made with a manual clean oven. Frigidsire made lots of models to choose. From built ins to free standing, single or double ovens and they were all reliable as well as one of the most popular brands to cook with.

1000$$$$$$$

You have got to be kidding me. There was one of these at some, either used appliance center or antique mall, advertised on craigslist for at LEAST 6 to 8 months. Mint condition. Looked like it had never been used. Crisp owners manual. $50. They knew what they had, too. They trumpeted it as the "rare Frigidaire Poppy color, midcentury modern classic" or something to that effect. Wonder if it ever sold. And that was in Ann Arbor, MI. Where vintage is the cool hipster thing to do.

Yeah, at the time

I kept kicking myself, trying to talk myself into liking the color "poppy." The thing I wonder is, what does poppy look like in real life? Because on my monitors it's only ever looked a little deeper/redder than coppertone. If it were more red and less coppertone-y I could like it. Poppies, after all, are pretty red. I knew it was a good deal at $50. But I'm glad I held out for what I have now. I have a '53 Frigidaire "Thrifty Thirty." She's adorable and I will not part with her even if/when I do get my dream pink stove.

Well, it will be interesting to see what happens...
