Vintage Frigidaire refrigerator question.

One of the customers at the appliance parts store where I work has a vitage Frigidaire refrigerator, Model MM-76. It starts and runs for a second or two than shuts off. Is this a bad motor start relay? If so, what's the correct repair procedure? I assume this involves the elusive YT relay, is there a substitution?

What vintage is this fridge?

Short Cycle

We had a side by side Frigidaire fridge that started doing this and the repairman said it was short cycling and wasn't worth the repair.  I have no idea if there is a word of truth to this, but it was my experience.

More than likely, either the relay, or the compressor. I'm betting compressor.
