I saw this the other day on Ebay and wondered how the coppertone and avocado came to be paired together? Very odd. I'd love to see the rest of that kitchen and see if maybe it makes sense?

Lawrence - maybe they were trying to create a monchromatic effect with the surfaces. Though matching is the norm, maybe they decided to go to contrasts? Replacing a matching oven, was another idea. It would be interesting to see the whole kitchen.
That vent over the oven is a Tradewinds ventilation hallmark. Maybe they were thinking a forest theme with brown tree trunks and green leaves or maybe they got good deals on those pieces.
