Vintage GE fridge: $1.00 in VA

Found this on craigslist. I'm assuming it's a GE because of the semi-circular shelves? Not sure, but it seems like a bargain for a buck!

Looks to me like a GE as well. We had a single door model back in the 50's, still working. Rotating shelves and the butter compartment door was metal like that one also had blue crisper drawers and I think the freezer section was metal inside as well.

I think the badge above the freezer spells out GE......with the circle thingy in the middle.

What was that called a clam or something?

Thats a GE allright. I'd put it at about 1955 or so. Mine is a few years older and has no shelves on the door since Crosley's Shelvador (shelv-a-dor) patent hadn't run out yet.
