Vintage GE Hand Mixer

I stopped in one of our Goodwill Stores today I they had a GE hand mixer, from the 1950's (guessing) for $8.83. I almost bought it, but I had several other places to go and since I was traveling by bus, I didn't want to be carrying it around with me. It was quit heavy for a hand mixer. If anyone here is interested in it,I would be happy to go there tomorrow and buy it if it's still there.

Hey Jim!  Was it a two-speed or three-speed model??    I have been looking for one of those early two-speeds for a while now...

I'm thinking it was a three speed but I'm not 100% positive.
