You know it
This is peculiar. And a big thank-you to the Seller who posted a pic of the Rating Plate (is this one of us?).
This is in fact a 1961 V model and it is the mate to the BOL Dryer that our downstairs neighbors had/used bought in 1961. What's weird is that, as a general rule supported by information in GE's own published brochures and cut-sheets, they didn't offer cabinet colors, turquoise, yellow, pink, coppertone, in any but the two TOL-tier models, the WA-1050 and WA-950 models. So far I've now seen two of these BOL's with color cabinets, now this one which I do want, and my own Aunt Clara, which is pink and is the WA-404 V model. I guess GE didn't follow its own rules and/or used surplus painted cabinets for any models in production before fabricating new ones.
I saw another iteration of this model, in white, at my grade school, being used for the church communities' laundry, which was located, conveniently enough for me, in the Rectory basement right behind the Art Class studio. They went through 3 different Filter-Flo's during my tenure. They must have been donated because the last one was a TOL.
The price is right but will the seller be willing to coordinate a sale that requires coordination with a 3rd party shipper. So far I've been burned by this arrangement 3 times and I'd be more enthusiastic if the panel were in better condition and the machine had the original filter pan.
