Well I think I have finally lost the plot.
Saw this on ebay and thought it would be a simple repair and nice to bring something back to life.Gave it a little mega,you dont wanna know the reading!
but still had to connect up.Two sets of gloves later,switch on.
Really it makes me cringe when just the act of putting the grill pan incorrectly could kill you....coils..lots and lots of coils.
The radiant ring half works,solid plate works,but I imagine it would take six weeks to cook anything.I thought ring could be replaced...but nope.
The oven (more coils) slowly got hotter and hotter,no stat everything low medium and high,
Put thermo in oven and switched off when it got to 200 degs..it stayed nearly a this temp for nearly and hour!
It took four people to lift it,and now sitting in the hall (partner phoning to get me sectioned)Alas I think going for scrap as to lethal to use
