Vintage Jacobs Launderall

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Well, the Launderall is a very rare bird indeed, however, you will likely have a devil of a time finding parts for a restoration. They are apparently not the easiest of machines to work on and there are some horror stories about how previous restorations ended badly... Worse still, once restored, these machines are reportedly poor peformers.

To me, the price of $600 sounds a bit steep for a machine in need of a total restoration, especially if the cabinet is bad and the window glass is missing. You'd likely need a 'parts donor' machine, too.

If you have any pictures, please post them and someone who has been through a restoration of one will be better able to evaluate the one you have found.
