Yes I did have one and after a lot of sweat equity in building a custom pressure switch for the tranny I did get it working. It ran a couple times and then the transmission caught fire and burned!! It was out the door after that!! I don't keep burners in my house as "Robert the Firestarter" can attest too!!
That transmission is wholly complex and easily prone to jamming up. And I really didn't see it as an even good washer. My impression of it was a half baked idea from the start , once you throw that handle on the front she starts and goes to through the whole cycle to stop. There is no way of changing, repeating any part of the cycle. Its all or nothing, so it was designed by men who NEVER did laundry themselves. These are just nice curiosity pieces-that should never be plugged in.
