That is very similiar looking to the dryer we had in our house when I was a kid. The big control on our dryer was slightly different. I have been keeping my eye out to see if any of you would ever post pics of this version of washer and/or dryer. My mom only had the dryer used with initially a wringer washer and then the highlander maytag.

That was the BOL Laundromat for 1963..it has the 'current' W logo on it, No Weigh to Save door, so the water levels are set by the small knob on the right and water temp depends on the timer setting
