Have made a decision that some of my stash is surplus to requirements, thus should be moved on.

Have vintage Fels Naptha and Kirkman's Borax soap bars on offer, as well as "Bleachette" bluing.

Am keeping rare items such as my stash of "La France" bluing powder, sorry guys.

If anyone is interested, drop me an email.

Really Must Get A Digital Camera

My dear, have enough laundry products and soaps to last the duration!

Really do not wish to be one of those persons whom after their death people wander around an estate sale of their goods wondering "why did she buy all this stuff and not use it?"

Much as one really loves doing laundry with soap, because my main washing machine is a Miele, cannot be too lavish with the stuff, so one bar tends to last a VERY long time.

While always have loved Fels Naptha soap, really have grown to like the Kirkman's Borax soap as well.

Though shipping costs might be more than the soaps itself, you're very welcome to have at them.

Fell's Naptha...

Laundress, would you be so kinds as to refresh my memory on how to use Fell's Naptha. I remember having some around when I was a kid, and a while back you posted a link to an auction on eBay, which I won.

I now have 4 bars, just wondering what is the best way to utilize them.

Bleachette Bluing

Is neither liquid or powder, but what is called "dolly" blue in the UK. That is it comes in a paper wrapped cube. One swishes the blue in rinse water to dispense the proper dose. After use the cube should be left to dry, I use an old soap dish so can catch any drips to use as well.

Don't know why the call the stuff "bleachette", it does not have any bleaching agents, at least that one knows of.
