....Free advice is always worth just about what you pay for it. Nevertheless, I'd like to offer a little. Please understand that this is intended to be helpful.
First, it sounds like you might have lost your storage area. That is a bummer, and I wish it did not happen to collectors. Please accept my condolences for whatever has happened. Nobody collects that many desirable machines without caring about them deeply; this has to hurt. I am truly sorry.
Second, if you are looking to avoid the scrapper, it would help if you accept that these machines may have to leave one at a time, and that you probably can't save them all. If you only find homes for a few, that's better than having all of them getting scrapped. So - offering them singly could save more of them than the all-or-nothing approach.
Third, you need pictures. SHOW people these beauties, and how they could be wonderful again with some TLC and some know-how. It's very hard for most people to relate to verbal descriptions.
Fourth, you might do better giving people a time frame. If these need to go absolutely Right. Freaking. NOW., then tell people. If there is a little time - however short - make sure people know that, too. It takes many people some little time to get time for a road trip, line up a vehicle, etc.
If you will present this situation in as positive a light as possible, and try to open up as many options for buyers as possible, you will likely save some of these machines. If you stick to the terms in your first post in this thread, you will need a double-barrelled, 24-carat, blue-ribbon, Pulitzer prize-winning, Oscar-nominated, Jesus-rising-from-the-dead MIRACLE.
Think about it, okay? These lovelies sound way too desirable to be scrapped.
