That Philco is beautiful! If it weren't missing some nearly impossible to find interior parts It'd be worth making an offer on, though not anywhere near the two thousand the seller has mentioned. I've seen interiors on these trimmed in blue/green(teal if you prefer), yellow, amber, and pink like this one. The pink in this case is surprisingly attractive, and I don't normally go for pink. It's too bad about the missing parts and other minor damage, but what is there seems to be in good restorable condition.

Philco Fridges:

1955 had yellow interior, 56 pink, 57 teal. Dont know about amber. I have the same fridge from 55. Paid $25.00 for it.

I had no idea that they introduced the colors that way. I had always thought that you could simply choose the color that suited you. As for the amber color, in looking over some of the stuff I've collected on these over the years I find repeated use of the term "Golden Automatics," which makes me wonder if what I'm calling amber is supposed to be a gold tone.

Anyways, in these photos below you can see the colors I mentioned. The first V handle fridge interior is yellow, the second V handle interior is what I've been calling amber, but perhaps it's gold, the third is pink, and finally the last one(which isn't a V handle) is in teal.
