Does Anyone....
....Know if this is a '55 or a '56? You can see where they were trying to get away from the rounded look of the Loewy design program, but the Sheer Look was still under wraps at the time.

First year for the surface unit controls to be off the front edge of the range and first year for the thermostatic unit and a modern bake element.
