So many neat refrigerators!

Love the GE Bottom Freezer. It looks to be in great shape.

I love the unique Westinghouse 3 door. Were these good refrigerators?

Mommie Dearest Sandy! So interesting about your Whirlpool. Wonder if you got a bad one? My Mom and Dad still have the exact fridge in Almond color as a second refrigerator in the garage! They bought it new at Woolco back in the day. Never had any issues. It is in a very HOT garage in Louisiana and has been running there for the last 15 years!

Yep, that's a sweet price, but no views - you only hope the rest is as nice as the front view. The ones that you could potentially buy were far away, and costlier. Something will drift nearer your way, Ralph.

Antique GE Refrigerator - $250 (Harlan)

ad: "
Antique GE Refrigerator/Freezer circa late 50's early 60's. Double refrigerator doors and pull out freezer with double basket and ice tray? Good condition but needs a new fan motor. Motor was replaced approximately 15 years ago. Refrigerator is white in color and has a built-in fluorescent light panel on backsplash above countertop. Buyer must pick up."

ge spacemaker

Vintage ge spacemaker in hampton is gone. It was in an estate auction. I had the highest bid. Went and struggled to put it in back of pick up. Drove home. Blew it off real good. Struggled some more getting it into house. Pluged it back in. Checked it in a few hrs ...40 deg fridge 5 deg freezer. Love it.

Thanks for the report and I updated the ad. What year do you think that fridge was manufactured? Any interior photos at some later time would be fun to see.

Thanks.

Sandy, the green Amana post says that they were hoping that someone may want the interior pieces... are those parts that you may want to stock for future use when you get your Amana fridge?

That Kenmore fridge would be absolutely beautiful in a kitchen that matched that perfectly!!! Custom ZubZero at a middle class price.

Hey, that's our basement fridge!

The Frigidaire pictured in reply #32 is exactly like our basement fridge. We bought it in 1998 with the express purpose of being a 2nd fridge. We bought it at an estate sale for $30. Ours was bought new approx. 1972. It is a non self-defrost model, and is also a Cycla-Matic. A very quiet unit. Ours has one large turquoise metal crisper drawer across the bottom.

The seller needs to do some homework. Just because it's older doesn't necessarily mean it's from the "early 1960's". lol
