1950's Sunbeam

Great Vintage working appliance.The photos pretty much say it all.

Nice appearance, free of all cracks.

Gold S emblem on front.

One original milk white mixing bowl.

Cord in very good condition.

12speeds for maximum use.

Lever for large and small bowl positioning.

This was my mothers mixer that she received as a gift in the 1950's. I have used the mixer a few times to make cookies. It works great.

Ad: " Sunbeam Mixmaster Mixer. 12 speed , all speeds work correctly. Includes original beater and original Fire-King Ware Sunbeam glass bowl that is 9" across. Also comes with the original user booklet dated 1957. The stand has 2 adjustable settings. The bowl is stamped "Fire-King Ware made in USA for Sunbeam." This mixer is in excellent condition. The mixer can be removed from the base to use as a portable unit. Perfect addition to your retro kitchen.."

It's an "L'Equip". It's called the "RPM" blender.

At the time, it had the most powerful blender motor on the market (1/2 horsepower or something like that).

I Googled it for you ... looks like they started making it in black (which is kind of sexy -- I admit I've have had trouble picking between that or the "raw aluminum" which was the only option when I bought mine).

Unfortunately, it also looks like it's been discontinued. :(

It's amazingly simple. Heavy-duty toggle on/off switch, and an infinitely-variable speed knob. The tachometer guages the RMPs. It's totally a GUY'S blender! :)

I assumed it was a smaller manual, but there's much good and fun information there. Thanks again!
