Ron is the owner, has been there for 40+ years....super nice guy...will work with you guys on shipping, either with Jim, or YouCrate.com, UPS...etc.

I asked him to look at our site and join to post a few pics of his vintage machines for sale.....

I don't even know where to begin, I wish I had my camera, I was in heaven....many vintage items...some in turquoise, even a vista-matic wringer....he has an ice box from the Honeymooners set.....many movies sport his appliances for props...

even has many vintage parts, not so much frigidaires jet action, but alot of Maytags, including the AMP...

I hope he post some pics, there are probably items you guys are looking for...stoves, refrigerators, I never knew Kenmore made a center dial dryer in 24 inches to match the washer...telephones..the stuff was endless..what a great shop... hope to return there again to take more time, and view all the stuff....he has newer stuff as well......

I had to stop in, I thought he might have been one of us, and if not, I gave him the site, and asked him to join, it could work for all of us!

Thanks for the info! Another great source of parts to add to the ongoing log I keep.

Uh,

I'd call him before you make the trip. I went down there yesterday (mostly out of curiosity and as part of a road trip). When I got there, I found what looked like an ordinary appliance store in a mini strip mall. There were a couple of old-ish washers and dryers out front and one beautiful turquoise Dixie gas stove. Although the store was lit and the "open" sign was on, there was a note taped to the door saying that Ron was close by and to call the number to get him. I did, and Ron , who was very nice on the phone, told me that he was busy and coming down to the store wouldn't be possible that day!?!!

I calmly and politely mentioned to Ron that I had come all the way from Connecticut and had be told my a friend that he was a source for vintage appliances and he took my information including email address and said that he or his friend would contact me to find out what I was looking for. It looks like he has a storage basement with lots of stuff in it, but boy did I strike out on Monday. I'm hopeful that he will contact me. He owes me that much for the trip.

Next time I will call before I go, but at least I got a good look at the beautiful New Jersey shoreline in the summer and stopped at a bizarre deli in Edison NY called "Harold's NY Deli" where I bought a pastrami sandwich and two of the most delicious Hammentaschen I've ever had all for 34 dollars.
