Vintage Washer Dryer Set on Craigslist

Hi there,

I found these on Craigslist and they look so pretty--though they're not close enough for me, I thought someone might love them?

Nice washer & dryer..... but not so vintage.

 

 

The date code on the dryer ID plate tells me it was built in December 1979.   The washer is standard capacity.

 

Still nice tho...

I wonder how they thought it would be from 1964. Perhaps they bought their first set in 1964 and forgot they bought a new set in 1979...

The '06 didnt start until...

...1966! Oh well, nice looking set anyways. Obviously a non-HOH dryer, but gas none the less.

Dryer is a 408 and the washer, I think, think, its a 108 or 308. Can't be a 408, those are large capacity models. [this post was last edited: 1/24/2012-20:07]
