That almost looks like a wood tub Maytag but I'm not sure. The designs sometimes looked so similar. Neat, nonetheless...

I was thinking Maytag too. I think one of these would be fun to use once in a while, LOL.

I too would be willing to bet that it's a Maytag.  In 1949, the Fair Appliance store here in Wausau sponsored a contest to find the oldest Maytag in Marathon County.  My great-aunt Adela won with my great-grandparents 1917 Maytag which looked just like the one pictured above.  BTW, Aunt Adela's prize was a brand new 1949 Maytag E2LP.  Don't know what ever happened to the 1917 machine.  The agitator attached to the cover has always reminded me of a cow's udder.
