Hey Everyone,

I have a Welbilt stove (not sure on the year, but I'm guessing 50's). I think it has been set up for natural gas (no regulator as far as I can tell), and the orifice(s) are sized approx 0.093 inches in diameter according to my micrometer. Anyways, I would like to convert it to propane for use in a trailer and would like to know how much BTU a stove like this is rated for so I can get the new orifice and regulator sized appropriately. Thoughts?

I don't know how to post pictures, here are links to pictures of the individual burners:

All you have to do..

Is screw the orifices all the way down snug, your tank should have a regulator on it, the pilots are adjusted simply by a screwdricer, the oven bypass and pilot are also easily adjusted.

Thanks!

The orifices in the burner and the oven are indeed adjustable! Is there some reference I can use to ensure I have it properly configured?

Newstoveguy,  I have never seen an apartment size stove with the larger burner like your L. front.  Nice & useful.  Propane burns hotter than nat. gas and indeed the  propane orifice fittings supplied with a new stove top are screw in with the hole about the size of a large sewing needle. " It don't take much".   If you have a propane grill the cost of a couple of fittings AFTER the regulator, could be a safe way to do some outdoor testing.  Much safer and cheaper than burning the house down.   alr
