My Model MM had been dropped and the head was messed up.. I let him keep it for parts and he gave me a replacement head and the correct beaters..Here she is making a Red Velvet Cake

Here is my GE Food Processor.. I found this too in Reno and paid $1.00 for it.. Kelly looked over it and its in really good shape.. Now the one thing.... I need to find the blender jar and attachments and a food pusher... I lost the food pusher in the travel home.. But it didnt have the blender jar.. I love the food processor and from what kelly told me, its hardly been used.. Some how i wound up with more pics of it than anything else..Guess cause i really like it

Yay for the model 9!!!

Cub, I'm so happy that mixer ended up with a loving home! I had to explain to my model 7 that she needed to go to the mixer day spa for a workover. A big Thank you to Kelly for taking care of it. I was pleased as it was when I found it at a thrift shop as the paint was in good shape but now the workings are just as good... I wish I could be up there right now as well but pictures will suffice.

OOH

I also got to see a Center Dial Tag in use today.. Wow does it fill with water.. I was slightly impressed.. Like my belt drive better.. More noise

Wow it sure looks like you guys had a fun time. Lots of mixer, baking, and of course good food!! Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. Mini meets are so fun!!

and the beat goes on..............

Its always nice to be with people who speak the launguage of love...appliance love. We played with them all, some repairs finite, some a bit of encouragement with a smack. I took apart a yellow Model 12 to replace the armature and bushing. I had a little help from Paul who pulled the governor stem out of the amature and so after reassemble it became apparent the donor armature wasn't going to work. Then after the second reassemble I hadn't timed the gears correctly and the beaters clicked. I decided to set it down and walk away for another day. I look at these old hands and ask what happened?!? They worked the last time I tried this.

Dormeyer

Hi Kelly-
It looks like my ultimate mixer fantasy come true- glad you guys are having fun. I noticed a Dormeyer SM12 (?) in the background. Do you use it for anything in particular? I had one for awhile and, like many of the mixers I've had, I sell them when I need room then months later have to restrain myself from bidding on another one! Keep the pictures coming.

Dormeyer

I was going to secretly put together a Dormeyer for a friend on the site who waxes over his childhood Dormeyer. It arrived with a broken plastic base, no turn table and only one beater. So, there it sits until I can get a turntable and really use it just once, to remind myself how much I love Bowl-Fit beaters.
