Warning to Bob Loaders

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

My Maytag does at least one rinse before the main wash compartment opens so I'm sure the bleach is rinsed out...though I'm sure mine uses more water to do it.....sometimes I'll use the pots/pans cycle and put gel with bleach in the prewash compartment and a finish tab in the main wash compartment.

Dishwasher Warning

"So a warning to Bob Loaders. If you have a Euro dishwasher, with a small detergent dispenser, you may need to load it fully before running a load that many would say is an overload"

Or Ditch the preset tablets and move to powder and dose according to load and soilage - works every time, for those pesky inferior small capacity Euro dishwashers especially bosch, all one needs to do is pour detergent into dispenser according to soilage and sprinkle a little on the door inner, that will take care of greasy soiled items on the first pre-rinse and flush most of the muck away, rather than spray it all over the sqeaky clean stainless steel tub and other dishes!!

Bleach Deactivating Enzymes

Yes - It's a give and take I guess. I like the institutional Cascade, or now called Fryer Boil Out. But it doesn't have enzymes. I notice the enzymes with no bleach do a better job on some things while the Cascade fryer boil out does better with others....Honestly, on my Maytag, I use autoclean, hi temp tough scrub, so I'm not sure if there is a rinse after the pre wash. But I think there is some kind of purge or something before the main wash starts......At any rate, the dishwasher was packed. There was dried oatmeal, dried mayo on knives, dried tomato sauce and everything came clean...So I would think if what bleach I used did not deactivate the enzymes or the load wouldn't have came as clean as it did.
