Washer/Dryer Placement

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Might not

be an ideal place, however if that is the only available space, I'd go for it!

Not everything can be arranged quite as we would like it to be, and the sooner some people got that idea, the world might be a bit happier and a lot more chill.

Wall mounted

That looks to me like a washing machine. Never mind how they actually got it up there, I cannot see it staying in that position for long, there aren't even braces on the wall brackets! I would not like to be sat under that as it went into its spin. Or actually, at any time. I supposed if you were constipated ......

you do what you have to do.....there have been stranger set-ups, but as long as it works.....more power to him...give him an "A" for effort....

I can't find the video, but there is a washer that mounts on the wall, I think by Daewoo, several models, one unique model drains into the tank of the toilet, talk about not wasting water or recycle/dual useage if you will.....

think in areas where water is a premium, why not use wash/rinse water to flush your toilet, detergents and bleach would keep it clean......theres even eople during droughts that will save their shower water in buckets to water the lawn and flowers, is this so far fetched?

Love the wall mounted!

That wall mounted washer is soooo neat!! It's got very few cycles though... but I guess they'd be enough for the occasional small load... surely this wouldn't be a daily driver!

As for the washer in the first pic (the one with her bearings in mid-air), I guess one must adjust and compromise to get the desired end result... it reminds me of my decision to stuck my dishwasher on top of the washing machine for lack of space in the kitchen... and surprisingly, it grew on me like that and I actually prefer it now and I wouldn't have it any other way ;-)

What's that washer though... is it a Hair? I'd trust my Hoover Nextra even on a picture hanger (exaggerating here) but I don't know whether I'd do that with any washer... maybe not even my new Hoover Dynamic... I definitely wouldn't trust an Indesit :-P

The washer in the picture is a LG machine, just as crappy as Haier if you ask me ;)
They really are disposable sadly! :S
It seems installed on air conditioner brackets so even with an unbalaced spin it should be all right! Sure it will make the wall vibrate quite a lot hahahah poor neighbors!!!

Even a Indesit (of which you should try the new series, much improved) wouldn't move a bit if attached to the frame with bolts!

If they sold this wall mounted washer in Canada, I'd consider buying one. I think it would be really handy for quickly washing a stained shirt which must be washed right away without having to do a full load.

Could also be handy for dyeing clothing, or for special washes with items you don't want mixed in with everything else. (ie. Cloth diapers, etc.)

Thanx peeps!

By looking at the pic a second time I realise now it's an LG... I can even make out the logo! I usually expect to see the flamboyant LGs with the chrome door and the flashy display... but this one isn't :-P
