Washers In Aus.....

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Its a normal Whirlpool

14lb capacity, from about 1968/69

No heat version.

Semi Auto, power control at the wall, the 3 position switch controls the spin/wash solenoid and in the middle it allows for drain.

The unusual thing about it, is the rearward opening lid, as most whirlpools by the 14 series had sideward opening lids.

It should have the white plastic agitator and the later tub.

This machine allows manual suds save.

I've PDF'd part of the product catalog from 61 and sent it to Robert to put up when he has a chance.

Love the Hitachi twinnie and the Servis

I love the Hitachi Twinnie it looks like a real little beauty however I am forbidden to bid on it I am afraid.
I also love the Wilkins Servis twinnie isn't it just amazing what people have kept away for all these years?,I would have never thought that such a machine would exist here in Australia any longer.
Cheers folks.
Steve.

The "shed" is a 3 car garage - 1 section for washing machine paraphernalia, 1 section for timber and building materials, 1 section for miscellaneous. Need to reorganise soon so we can fit at least one car there...!

Chris.
