Additional info
Hi everyone! I am so excited to be in contact and to share..sorry it took a bit for me to respond...thanks to all again and hope to talk to each of you soon..
The KENMORE washer features are:
1. 6 Cycles
2. 5 options
3. ATC/ with option to turn off gives you a true hot wash or when on activates warm water on cold settings to increase detergent enzymes.
4. 3.0 cubic-ft basket.- Larry, my uncle cal never had it repaired. The basket came with it. Maybe they were tooling up for the new DD to come and were fortunate to get the newer basket..where is dick s. when you need him--lol--.
5. Triple bogus action agitator..spring loaded..really a dual action agitator. Never really saw the benefit of the springyness of the mechanism. It is suppossed to adjust to the load. I personally like the first generation dual action, belt-driven models. It was a longer augur..more spirals but the DD do roll-over much faster.
6. Insulated cabinent.
7. Triple dispenser with bypass switch to cancel detergent dispenser. I guess it is for people who prefer to add manually to basket (for me it depends on the mood i'm in..lol).
8. True 3-speed agitation and one pulsed on-hand wash program.
9.Spin speed 640 rpm.- not the best extraction rate but this is what half or more americans' in this country are extracting at in standard top loaders. We just can't seem to get past it. I am an appliance salesman and most people still think that high speed spins are going to ruin their clothes..go figure. We are not educated about extraction rates and other sales people don't bother to explain and leaves these poor people in the dark (except my customers!!!) but that's a whole other thread. AAH 800 or 1000 should be standard. I have learned so much from European machines thats why my fav top load standard washer is F.& P. @ 1000. It is the winner at $ 599.0 and with rebate it comes to $ 499.00 but i am really bored with direct drive washers. Whirpool, Kenmore, Kitchen Aid (no longer in production) and Inglis..i am missing a couple under the Whirlpool badge. I think for a trillion dollar corp. they can come up with a machine at $ 399.00 ( thats the price most seem to like ) that can spin at 800 or 1000 rpm. That said, the Kenmore is still a fun and beautiful washer that deserves to be in anyone's collection and trust me i wash in all DD washers. How can you not? 1 out of 2 homes have them. ( i hate waitng for dryer time..call your manufacturers..lol.) Anyway, i am learning to use my camera to post videos but not there yet. I will make a fast effort......
hey Edurado, I love your videos of your Brastemp washer..thanks!

O.K. here are the dryer pics..hey, i just use auto drying all the time in various ways..the cycles are self-explanatory..touch up is fun when i am too lazy to iron polo shirts and khakis for work..
Best to all...darren K.
