Just got back from Cyprus, well needed break, went with two friends, (wifes of neighbours, leaving the husbands at home with the kids)confused the hell out of the waiters at this sleepy fishing village, they couldnt work out what the situation was, as I`d sit with Carol one night and Jenny the next...The manager came over one night and said, "Maka sura youa loook after the Laaaddies, and the Laaaddies willa looka after you and winked" yeha right , got my number...NOT...LOL...

The washing machine was slow so I had to resort to"Washing In The Ceeeeement Pond" as granny would say...LOL

Electrolux 567 - It Actually Exists...lol

Here is the washer, I nearly fell through the floor when I saw the serial number, back in the 80`s Victoria Wood, (Nothern England Actress) did a sketch, along the lines of "Just got back from the hospital with my friend lynne, she was up a ladder cleaning her pelmets with her gob wide open , when she accidentally swallowed the attachment of an Electrolux 567, ...LOL

The irony of this was that you wernt anyone at the time unless you had an Electrolux 345 vac, people used to say when asked "what type of vac do you have "Oh I have a 345... (pronounced Three Forty Five)

Detergents

Hey Mike
Wipp is availiable in Spain as well :). When I was knee high to a grasshopper my mum used to use Drive in our single tub Hoover, along with Square Deal Surf(white version) and Tide!

Seamus

P.s Presumably the graphic use makes it multilingual lol

she was up a ladder cleaning her pelmets with her gob wide o

DARE I ask what this means?

You GO Mikey! Cyprus sounds marvelous.

The DRIVE says (in Greek)
"With the original Bio-Enzolve formula"

THE "EUPnKA Active Care" is "EUREKA" Brand which, BTW, means "I found it!"

The "WIPP" says "For quick, easy hand-washing."

I had to look twice at the detergent boxes, because I could swear one is "Wupp". I can hear the ad now: "Wupp up on stains!" or a perky housewife saying "Use new Wupp! It's just like opening a can of Wupp ass on tough laundry stains."
