Can anybody tell me if you have had any experience with these washing machine balls that you use instead of detergent. Will it not cause a lot of wear and tear on the clothes.

I appreciate your response

Regards

Useless

I remember reading some time ago in Consumer Reports that these are as useful as washing your clothes without detergent.  The only thing that gets lighter is your wallet.

LOL

There was a study done five or more years ago by a university in Missouri that said "the only function these performed well was "relieving the overly-gullible from the burden of excess cash."

I had clients who convinced themselves they were allergic to everything in the universe and bought these to wash clothes with. After a short time, those pitiful things were grimy and dirty, they couldn't even keep themselves clean!

I used the Oxyball for a few months. It seemed to do ok, but I thought it was kind of strange that it was left in the machine for a whole cycle, and it was very noisy in a front loader.
