Washing T-shirts

Okay, I have a question and if has been discussed here before, sorry! I only started posting recently.

I always wash t-shirts with designs and logos inside out as I was told it helps preserve the colors and design itself. Any truth to this?

I don't even remember who told me this or when, but I have been washing them that way since my college years and that was quite a while ago.

Cant' hurt. With a F/L I think it may matter less.

IMHO the DRYER kills these types of pressed-on / ironed on decals /logos.

I just dont buy them. Even embroidered-on designs where the threads come through the back are uncomfortable.

drying

I wash them either way but only dry them inside out. I have seen the print on dryer drums and been able to read it from the shirts it peeled off.

Washing & Drying

I read within the last 10 or so years that it makes them last longer, seems to work, especially if line drying.

I've seen the instructions on some laundry tags to turn items inside out

I agree.....

wash them inside/out but in COLD water.
