I do hope the girl is ok. But I bet the parents who weren't watching her will have the nerve to sue that laundromat. A few weeks ago at a laundromat I go to, a woman was there with her 2 daughters probably around 8 years old. And they were running all over the place and there were a lot of people there. They were climbing on top of the large 6 load washers, climbing in them and on the folding counters, racing around in the carts and getting in everyones way. You could tell people were getting pissed off. In fact a few commented about it. And the mother was doing nothing about it. She told them something maybe once but there was no meaning behind it. I had all of my supplies on a table next to a wall ready for use and out of the way. When one of the girls comes up to me with a hand full of dryer sheets and asked if they were mine. Sure enough they were. The only way they could have got to them is if they climbed onto the counter. And there are signs all over saying not to let your kids on the counters or on the machines. I badly wanted to say something and I should have. Had my Mom been with me, she would have without a doubt. Had one of them got hurt, I would have told the owner exactly what the rest of us had put up with. I never wish bad on a childs welfare, but I will not stand by and let someone try to profit from their own neglect. When I was a kid and went to the laundromat or even the store with my Mom, I was never allowed to leave her side. In fact at the laundromat, I always helped. Again I hope the girl is ok, but I hope her parents learned a lesson.
