Bob, yes you will be able to use credit cards because that is how Paypal works or you can link your bank account as well. You don't even need I paypal account if you are using a credit card. And yes the way to filter out the underage crowd is to require payment through paypal. Its not perfect, but it will go a long ways. There is no 100% accurate way to do age verification, if someone wants to get in bad enough they will find a way.
No lifetime memberships Kevin, because at some point I might not want to do this anymore, lifetime would more or less morally lock me into operating this site. Once a year everyone will need to spend two minutes renewing their account, which isn't much to ask IMO.
As for the extra donation box or area, I'll see if I can get that to work without a lot more coding, but its low priority at this point.

There was a bright yellow version of that type of coffee pot at a thrift store near me earlier this week. I was kind of tempted to buy it. I think it's later and instead of stars it has some kind of floral-ish pattern. I can certainly check if it's still there.

I tend to agree with others that have commented regarding your fee structure. I think they are too low. I know that they reflect you but in comparison to "what's out there," you really could charge more. Also, could the site be considered non-profit so people could write it off? Just wondering.
BTW, I love your picture with the slant fronts in the kitchen. That makes your house truly mid-century modern. My aunt and uncle built their house in 1951 and had the laundry just off the eating area of their kitchen and I always thought that was incredible. I think you have the picture of my younger cousin sitting in a high chair that hangs off the table ... and in the background are their GE machines from, I think, '59 - '60. Love it.
I owe you and Fred a call ... will call soon.

For some, $12 may be stretching their already tight budget. To others $12 is not going to be a problem. One could always charge $12 minimum and allow the user to add an additional amount, if desired. Just a thought.

Having always loved washers this site was such a blessing when I found it..if for nothing else to find there are so many other "normal" people out there.
I am far from an IT person but can not thank you enough for the many hours you spend to make this all happen.
I will certainly join as a paid member (I always wondered why a site like this was free anyway).
